HI MATT
Sherlock has:
- an armchair by the fire
- an expression of unreasonable cheer
- a mug of cold-pressed coffee
- a truly impressive collection of hickeys, accented by a well-bitten lip that only recently stopped bleeding.

Matt glances up in slight embarrassment-- he supposes it's probably a positive thing to bliss out touching someone, but he's not sure if he should explain it.
"Well. I like touching you," he murmurs instead.
That faint, crooked smile in place once more, his hand smoothes down just a little, then across to his ribs.
"So that seems to work out ..."

His eyes track the flutter of Sherlock's lashes, fingers brushing over his ribs.
Then he leans in to press a kiss to his chest, below the collarbone.

Matt turns his head, resting his cheek against Sherlock's chest while his hand splays out over his stomach, still not too low.
His skin feels hot next to Sherlock's, even through the shirt. It's strange even for a boy who routinely sleeps with vampires.

His breath gusts against Sherlock's chest; a moment later, his nose and lips brush down.

He, too, finds this relaxing.
(Meanwhile, his fingers run up Sherlock's side.
It still surprises him to find chill in the places one expects to find warmth.)
no subject
With a gentle sigh, he traces his fingertips down over Matt's cheek.
no subject
He wants to memorize these sensations for later.

When he opens them, he straightens, hands running slowly up Sherlock's chest.
Soft, almost dreamy, "Can I kiss you?"

Before he quite closes the distance, though, Sherlock's bitten lip gives him pause. He lifts a hand and brushes his index finger over his lower lip.
"This doesn't hurt, does it?"
no subject

He ... can relate.
"All right." Pulling his finger away, he leans close. "Let me know if you want me to fix that."

Sherlock decides to kiss Matt instead of asking which one obtains.
no subject
(Maybe it's this:
Something cool, you expect to be unyielding, on the spectrum towards frozen. You expect chapped skin and discomfort.
You don't expect softness.)
One hand stays braced against Sherlock's chest; the other curls over his shoulder.
no subject
(He hasn't been able to achieve the laboratory conditions to verify this, but he suspects there is no temperature at which any of his bodily fluids would freeze.)
He wraps his arms around Matt and pulls him a little closer, smiling into the kiss. He learned a lot from Jim, but what he learned was mainly Jim; with Matt he feels he ought to start from the beginning.
no subject
His own tongue nudges out, seeking Sherlock's.
He feels slightly awkward and twisty, but although he'd eventually love to slide onto Sherlock's lap, he doesn't feel it's quite the time yet.
He goes with the flow where these things are concerned: kisses first.
no subject
"There's not very much of you," he observes between kisses.
no subject
"So they tell me."
no subject
no subject
"That sounds smart," he concurs, following the tug and settling in with a cheerful wriggle.
Lap: achieved!
